Former Minnesota Attorney General and Blackwell Burke P.A. Special Counsel Mike Hatch was selected to receive the Joan and Walter Mondale Award for Public Service. The Minnesota DFL Party will present the award to Mr. Hatch at its second annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner on April 20th. The award recognizes Mr. Hatch’s lifetime dedication to public service. He served as Minnesota Attorney General from 1999 to 2007. From 1983 to 1990, he served as Commerce Commissioner, the primary regulator of the insurance and financial industries in Minnesota. Mr. Hatch is currently Special Counsel at Blackwell Burke P.A., practicing in the areas of complex litigation, regulatory compliance, unfair competition, insurance, and health care. He also counsels and advises clients on government and internal investigations.
