On April 27, 2015, Brendan M. Kenny presented on a panel at the NorCal eDiscovery & Information Governance Retreat in Napa, California. The title of the panel discussion was “Social Media – eDiscovery’s ‘friend?’” Kenny stressed that lawyers should understand how to find, preserve, and authenticate social-media evidence. He also described the unique legal challenges that companies face as they attempt to communicate with consumers on social media without losing control of their brands.
Brendan M. Kenny is the founder of the Twin Cities E-Discovery Forum and a member of the Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program’s National Outreach Committee.
