Blackwell Burke recently led successful negotiations on behalf of global telecommunications client CenturyLink with Minnesota’s Attorney General. Blackwell Burke CEO and founder Jerry Blackwell spearheaded the negotiations in partnership with three other law firms.
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison praised Blackwell’s efforts. “I will say this. Even though CenturyLink put us through a lot of changes, they did cooperate to this settlement agreement [sic]. So, that’s good. I’ll thank Jerry Blackwell for that,” Ellison said in a press conference announcing the settlement.
The lawsuit was based on complaints made to the Minnesota Attorney General’s office about the company’s billing practices and has received significant media coverage.
